I must be in a pink mood lately. The last color I showcased was coral. I guess I’m seeing it around a lot lately. Pink is often a color we love or hate, it has that appeal. Soft and subtle, it is delicate, peaceful and gentle, but bold and vibrant shocking pink can be emotional and stimulating to your senses.
Interiors can be transformed with the use of pink, but men generally have an aversion to living in a pink space, maybe they feel uncomfortable around emotional colors! Therefore it is most commonly used in girl’s bedrooms and bathrooms. You can read about the use of pink in Feng Shui here.
Totally diggin’ this space. The mix of the industrial and brick with the pink accents. The chandelier is a nice touch.

This space look like it belongs to a twenty-something that lives in studio in Manhattan. I like how its mainly white with that pop of fuchsia.

This loft space is so cool! Using that vintage soft pink fridge is a great touch!

Who says pink can’t be sophisticated? Loving this mod home!

You rarely see pink in the kitchen. It seems really modern and fresh.

Nice subtle pink color on the walls sets a nice tone for this space. Feels really soft and inviting.

You’ve seen this painted floor idea before here. It adds a great pop of color and visual interest to the room. I like the contrasting painted yellow door.

Pink and brown have always been a great combo. This bedroom doesn’t feel too feminine at all. I think any man would be okay sleeping in this room. The area rug adds that masculine touch to balance the pink walls out.

Great textures and tones of pink in this room. I like the mix of the lush velvet and natural fiber area rug.

I just love this space. All the different shades pink with the the lime green desk and accents. Green and pink is another great combo.

Is pink a color for you? Do you think it can be used in a sophisticated manner?
